CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Do not use for animals with a history of an allergic reaction to any of the penicillins or cephalosporins.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
- Mix 3g MEGA AMOX powder with 15 ml of distilled water and shake vigorously to form a suspension.
- Each ml of the suspension contains 40 mg of amoxicillin and 10 mg of clavulanic acid.
- Use orally at the following doses.
- Dogs, and cats: 1 ml/4 kg of body weight, use twice daily for 5-7 consecutive days for skin and soft tissue infections such as abscesses, cellulitis, wounds, superficial/ juvenile pyoderma, and periodontal infections.
For chronic diseases and respiratory diseases:
- 1 ml/2 kg of body weight, use twice daily for the
following treatment periods:
- Chronic dermatitis: 10 – 20 days.
- Chronic cystitis: 10 – 28 days.
- Respiratory tract infections: 8 – 10 days.
NOTES:
- Shake well before use.
- Use only for dogs and cats.
- The total duration of treatment should not exceed 30 days.
- If symptoms do not improve after 5 days of treatment, the patient should be re-evaluated.
- Withdrawal time: Not applicable for pets.
- STORAGE
- Store product in dry, cool place under 25ºC.
- Stay away from direct sunlight.
- Any unused portion of the reconstituted suspension must be discarded after 10 days.
- The reconstituted suspension is required to bestored at 2ºC and 8ºC.
