COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml contains:
- Dexamethasone acetate………………………..2 mg
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
- By deep intramuscular injection.
- Horses, cattle: 1 ml/40 kg body weight.
- Foals, calves, sheep, goats: 1 ml/20 kg body weight.
Withdrawal time:
- For meat: 7 days.
- For milk: 60 hours.
STORAGE:
- Store in a cool and dry place, temperature under 30°C. Stay away from direct sunlight.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Do not use in known cases of hypersensitivity to dexamethasone, to corticosteroids and to any other ingredient of the product.
- Except in emergency situations, do not use in animals suffering from diabetes mellitus, renal insufficiency, cardiac insufficiency, hyperadrenocorticism or osteoporosis.
- Do not use in late pregnancy, in large species of animals – cows, mares – it can lead to premature birth or abortion.
- Do not use in viral infections during the viraemic stage or in cases of systemic mycotic infections.
- Do not use in animals suffering from gastrointestinal or corneal ulcers, or demodicosis.
- Do not administer intra-articularly where there is evidence of fractures, bacterial joint infections and aseptic bone necrosis.
- Do not use in horses to treat laminitis.
- Do not use simultaneously with other glucocorticosteroids or immunobiological drugs.
- DO NOT USE OVER DOSE.
