COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains:
Doxycycline hyclate ………………………………………. 200 mg
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For deep intramuscular injection.
Cattle, sheep, goats and camels:
1 ml per 10 kg body weight (equivalent to 20 mg doxycycline hyclate/kg body weight) as a single dose. In severe cases, a second injection may be administered after 48 hours.
Do not administer more than 10 ml per injection site in cattle, sheep, goats and camels.
Withdrawal time:
Meat and oral: Cattle: 28 days; Sheep and Goats: 28 days; Camels: 28 days
Milk: 12 days (24 milkings)
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to doxycycline, tetracyclines or any of the excipients. Do not use in animals with severe hepatic impairment. Do not administer concurrently with penicillins, cephalosporins or other bactericidal antimicrobials.
Use with caution in animals with severe renal dysfunction.
Do not use in pregnant animals unless the benefit outweighs the potential risk.
Storage:
Store in a cool and dry place temperature under 30oC.
Stay away from direct light.
