COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml contains:
Oxytocin……………………………………………………20 IU
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
For intramuscular or subcutaneous administration:
Mares and cows: 2 – 2.5 ml/ head.
Ewes and goats: 0.5 – 1.5 ml/ head
The dose may be repeated after 30 minutes, according to veterinarian’s discretion.
Withdrawal time:
For meat: 1 day. For milk: 1 day.
STORAGE:
Store in a cool and dry place, temperature under 30°C. Stay away from direct sunlight.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to oxytocin.
It is contraindicated in dystocia due to abnormal presentation of fetus that has not been corrected, females with cardiovascular disease or with the possibility of uterine rupture. Use with caution in case of toxemia.
DO NOT USE OVER DOSE.
